This Indenture made the twenty fourth day of December in the year of Our Lord One thousand eight hundred - and eighty three Between Louis H Davies of Charlottetown Queens County in Prince Edward Island Barrister of the one part and Daniel McAssey of Lot thirty eight (38) Farmer of the other part .... did on this twenty fourth day of December A.D. 1883 set up and sell the said lands described in said mortgage by public auction and the said Daniel McAssey being the highest bidder at said sale became the purchaser thereof as and for the price or sum of One hundred and twenty five dollars ....
All that ___ or parcel of land situated __ and being in Lot or Township number thirty - eight (38) in the Parish of St Patrick in Kings County in this Province of Prince Edward Island in the Dominion of Canada comprising a good mill site and ___ occupied by David H Douglas bounded and described as follows that is to say commencing at a stake fixed on the west bank of the Hillsborough River at the boundry line of land owned and in possession of Allan Joseph McDonald and David McDougald thence running west a distance of ten chains thence south ___ chains thence following the various courses of the said Hillsborough River until it meets the boundry line of the aforesaid Allan Joseph McDonald and David McDougald thence following the boundry line north fifteen chains to the place of commencement containing by estimate fifteen acres of land __ a little more of less ...
