Mary Stewart to Hugh MacKendrick Conveyance

This Indenture made the Sixteenth day of November in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifteen Between Mary Stewart Widow and Executrix of Charles Stewart late of Charlotte Town in Prince Edward Island Esquire Deceased of the one part and Hugh McKendrick of Lot or Township number Eighteen in the said Island farmer of the other part. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the Sum of forty Pounds lawful money of the said Island by the said Hugh McKendrick to the said Mary Stewart in hand paid at or before the Ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged by the said Mary Stewart and thereof and of and from every part and parcel thereof doth forever acquit release and discharge the said Hugh McKendrick his heirs Executors and Administrators and every of them forever by these presents. She the said Mary Stewart hath Granted Bargained Sold Aleined Released Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents doth grant, bargain, Sell, Alein, Release, Enfeoff and Confirm with the said Hugh McKendrick his heirs and assigns forever all that tract piece or parcel of Land situate lying and being in Prince County in Saint Davids Parish and is bounded as follows that is to say, Commencing at a stake fixed on the South Shore of March Water thence running due South on the boundary line of Mr. Dugald Stewart forty four chains thence North forty five degrees West Eleven Chains thence South forty five degrees West twenty one Chains thence due North to the said Shore thence along the Courses of the shore and a Pond to the beginning Containing one hundred acres a little more or less and bounded on the East by said Division line on the South by Lands belonging to Dugald Ramsay on the West by Vacant Land and on the North by the aforesaid Shore and is part of Lot or Township Number Eighteen in the said Island. Agreeable to the plan thereof hereunto annexed together with all houses, Outhouses, Buildings, Barns, Yards, Gardens, Orchards, Meadows, Marshes, Trees, Woods, Underwoods, Ways, Waters, Watercourses, privileges Profits, Advantages, Hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining or therewith usually occupied or enjoyed reputed taken or known as part parcel or member thereof And the reversion or reversions, remainder or remainders, rents Issues and Profits thereof. And all the Estate, Right, Title, Interest, Use, trust property Claim and Demand whatsoever both at law and in Equity of her the said Mary Stewart of in to or out of the same every or any part or parcel thereof To have and To hold the said tract piece or parcel of Land and all and singular the Premises abovementioned with the appurtenances unto the said Hugh McKendrick his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said Hugh McKendrick his heirs and assigns forever. Subject nevertheless to the payment of the Quit hereafter to grow due and Payable to his Majesty his heirs and Successors. And the said Hugh McKendrick his heirs and assigns shall and may from time to time and at all times hereafter Peaceably and Quietly have hold use, occupy Possess, and Enjoy the said tract of Land and all and Singular the Premises abovementioned with the appurtenences without the lawful Let, Suit, Trouble, Hinderance, Molestation, Interruption or Denial of her the said Mary Stewart her heirs or assigns or of any other Person or Persons whomsoever Claiming or to Claim by from or under her them or any any of them and freed and discharged of from and against all other Estates, Rights, Titles or Incumbrances whatsoever.In Witness whereof the said Parties to these presents have hereunto set their hands and Seals the day and year first before Written. ~ Mary Stewart.
