deceased Intestate in Prince
Edward IslandThe petition of Bridget Kinch of Kildare River Township No. 4 in Prince County in the said Island widow of the late William Kinch of that plays who died in intestate.
Respectfully Sheweth, That the said William Kinch departed this life on the 20th day of June last past leaving Your Petitioner his widow seven children the issue of a former marriage and two children issue of the marriage of Your Petitioner him surviving. That the said William Kinch died possessed oo and entitled unto certain real and personal Estate and property situated and been in Prince County aforesaid of the value of Two Hundred and Twenty pounds
As Your Petitioner believes. And Your Petitioner is desirous to administer to the said Estate of the said William Kinch her late husband and a lot of that it may be legally apportioned and divided among the said surviving children and Your Petitioner
Your Petitioner therefore humbly
prays that Your Honor will
be pleased to grant to Your
Petitioner of Letters of Administration
to the said estate, according to law
And as in duty bound Your
Petitioner will ever pray
her

Prince Edward Island
To his own a the Surrogate Judge of probate and for granting administration on the Estate and the Effects of Deceased persons in this said Island. The petition of Bridget Kinch Widow of William Kinch late of Kildare of the said Island, Farmer deceased
Humbly Showeth
That Your Petitioner’s late husband William Kinch having died of the 20th day of June 1851. Your Petitioner did on the 21st day of February 1852 obtain letters of Administration of his Estate and Effects and the same having been sold by Your Petitioner according to law and Your Petitioner being paid to account in this Estate in due form of law but is inasmuch as there are two infant children of the said deceased namely one Girl named Margaret age five years and one Boy named Peter aged two years, children of Your Petitioner. It becomes necessary and they are desirous that a Guardian be appointed to __?__ the the said Margaret Kinch and Peter Kinch the said Infants on the division of the Said Estate being made according to law
May it therefore please Your Honor to appoint Your Petitioner or some other fit and proper person the guardian of the said Infants according to law.
And as in duty bound she will ever pray

To the Honorable Charles Young Surrogate and Judge of Probate of Wills, and for granting administration’s in the Estate and Effects of persons deceased, who have died Intestate leaving goods, chattels lrights and credits in the said Island
The humble petition of Lawrence Kinch of Kildare in on Township Number Four in Prince County in the said Island, Farmer
Humbly Sheweth
That William Kinch late of Kildare aforesaid, departed this life in or about the Month of June in the Year of Our Lord Ond Thousand Eight Hundred and fifty one Intestate,
That the said William Kinch had been married twice, and left Seven children by his first wife, and his second wife and two children him surviving
That the said William Kinch at the time of his death was possessed of Some Real and Personal Estate, and Administration on his said Estate has been granted to his widow the present Bridget Kinch
That your petitioner is the Eldest son of the said William Kinch, and has had the charge and care of his Two Youngest brothers and Two Youngest sisters, namely, John, William, Bridget, and Maryann, who are yet Minors, and ever since the death of their father, and that the widow, of the said William Kinch hath the care of her two children, who are also under Age
That your petitioner having always had charge of his two brothers, and sisters above named, is desirous of being appointed their Guardian for the purpose of representing them in the distribution of their late Father’s Estate
Your petitioner therefore humbly Prays your honor will be pleased to grant him such Guardianship, and as in duty bound he will ever pray --
