1st, to Sarah Howell, my eldest daughter (after all debts are paid), £1.

2nd, to Elenor Simpson my second eldest daughter,, £1.

3rd, to Jane Bearstoe my third daughter, £1.

4th, to Francis, my eldest son, £1.

5th, to John my second son, £1.

6th to Eliza Ann my fourth eldest daughter the yearly sum of five pounds (& provision if she leave farm or marry).

7th, to Thomas Mitchel Brown the sum of £25, "if he remains upon the farm as he has done until he arrives at the age of 21 years."

8th to Anne, my dearly beloved wife, the whole management of my estate during her life and at her death "to come unto the hands of William Hyde, my youngest son (William H.)". Dated this day of in the year of our Lord, One Thousand eight hundred and twenty two.
