The Last Will and Testament of Samuel Nicholson (-1891, Dundas)
In the name of God, Amen
I, Samuel Nicholson of Dundas township fifty five in Kings County P.E.Island, being of sound mind, but weak in body and aware of the uncertainty of this life, do hereby make this my last Will and testament, and bequeath my worldly effects in form and manner following that is to say.
To my son John Nicholson, the elder, I give and bequeath Twenty-five cents or one shilling sterling.
To my son John M. Nicholson, the younger, I give and bequeath the sum of Twenty-five cents or one shilling sterling.
To my son Murdock Nicholson I give and bequeath the sum of twenty-five cents or one shilling sterling.
To my son Armichan (sic) (Armichael/Armiger) Nicholson twenty-five cents or one shilling sterling.
To my daughter Annie Pratt I give and bequeath twenty-five cents or one shilling sterling.
To My daughter Margret Fraser I give and bequeath the sume of twenty-five cents or one shilling sterling.
To my daughter Jessie Simons I give and bequeath the sum of twenty-five cents or one shilling sterling.

Codicil I
In addition to the written bequest I also bequeath to my daughter Margret Fraser one cow and two sheep, if she so demands or needs the same.
To my daughter Jessie Simons I give in addition to the within bequest, one cow and two sheep, if she so demands or needs the same.
