The Last Will and Testament of Patrick Landrigan of Sturgeon, Lot 61 (-1886).

In the name of God, Amen.

I Patrick Landrigan of Sturgeon, Lot 61 in Kings County Prince Edward Island, Dominion of Canada being through the goodness of Almighty God of sound mind and memory but being like aware of the uncertainty of Human life do make public and declare this my last will and testament.

That is to say first I recommend my soul to God who gave it and desire that my body may be decently buried at the discretion of my executors.

With respect to my worldly estate I give and bequeath and dispose of it in the following manner. I give and bequeath to my son Matthias Landrigan all my Property Containing upwards of seventy acres of Land a little more or less situated lying and being in Lot 61 in Sturgeon, Kings County and I give and bequeath to my son Matthias Landrigan all my Carpenter Tools and all my Mason Tools and I do nominate and appoint Michael McCarron and Andrew McGee as my sole executors to this my last will and testament.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal at Sturgeon in Kings County this seventeenth day of September A.D. 1885.

P.E. Island. The within Will having been presented for Probate John Jamieson one of the subscribing witnesses thereto made Oath that he was present and did see the above Testator sign his name thereto by making his mark and heard him publish and declare the same as and for his last Will and Testament that when Testator so did he was of sound disposing Mind and Body according to this Deponents? Best discovering? That he subscribed his name as witness thereto in the presence of the said Testator and that john O'Connor subscribed his name as a Witness thereto at the same time.

Sworn to at Chambers This 6th day of October A.D. 1886 Before Me.
