In the name of God Amen:
Know all men by these presents that I Lauchlin Gillies of Prince Edward Island in the County of Prince farmer being of sound disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and Testament.First I give and bequeath to my son James Gillies 50 acres of land joining fifty acres deeded to him before.
Second I give to my son Donald Gillies two cows and one calf four head of sheep one mare four years old.
Thirdly I give and bequeath to my beloved son James Gillies all my houses and household furniture together with my farming Implements
Fourth I give and devise to my beloved son James Gillies all the rest of my stock horses cows sheep pigs. etc All my lawful debts to be paid by my son James Gillies
Fifth ordain and appoint Mr Stephen Gillies and Mr Murdoch McKinnon Senr as Executors of this my last will and testament
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal and publish and declare this to be my last will and Testament in the presence of the witnesses named below this fifth day of June in the year 1867.
