I Eliza Gamble of Ive's Point in Price County widow make oath and say: 1/ That the statement and allegations in this petition with annexed marked "A" are true to the best of my knowledge and belief. 2/ That the inventory above marked "B" contains a true and correct account of the property which said John Gamble died seized of the best my knowledge and belief.Sworn before me at Ive's Point in Prince County this 1st day of May A.D.

Dominion of Canada Province of Prince Edward Island In the surrogate & Probate Court To the Honorable Richard Reddin of Charlottetown in Queen's County Surrogate and Judge of Probate

The petition of Eliza Gamble of Ive's Point in Prince County widow: 1/ That John Gamble late of Ive's Point aforesaid farmer departed this life on or about the 28th day of April 1907 intestate leaving him surviving your petitioner his widow, his sons Edward Gamble of St Paul State of Minnesota and Hugh Gamble of Ive's Point aforesaid and his daughter wife of John McLure of Bedeque in Prince County, Delilah Dickie of Summerside in Prince County widow and Jessie Trenholm wife of Theodore Trenholm of Carleton in Prince County.
2/ That your petitioner is desirous of administering to the Estate of the said John Gamble.

I am petitioner therefore prays that letters of administration be granted then and your petitioner ? ? pray

ITEM # 3
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That we Eliza Gamble of Ive's Point Prince County widow, Levi Silliphant of Summerside in Prince County Butcher and Roy Silliphant of Summerside in Prince County Butcher are held and firmly bound unto the Surrogate Judge of Probate, in and for Prince Edward Island, in the sum of Four Hundred Dollars of lawful money of the Dominion of Canada, to be paid to the said Surrogate Judge of Probate, for the time being, for which payment, to be well and truly made, we bind ourselves, and each of us by himself, for and in the whole, our and each of our Heirs, Executors, and Administrators, firmly by these presents, sealed with our seals, dated this first day of May, in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and seven.

The condition of this Obligation is such, that if the above bounden Eliza Gamble Administrator of all and singular the Goods and Chattels, and Credits of John Gamble the deceased, do make, or cause to be made, a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the Real Estate, Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said Deceased which have, or shall come, to the hands, or possession, or knowledge of the said Eliza Gamble or into the hands or possessions of any other person or persons, for her and the same so made, do exhibit, or cause to be exhibited into the Registry of the Surrogate Court for the said Island, on or before the Second day of August next ensuing; and the same Goods, Chattels and Credits, and all other the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said deceased, at the time of his death, which at any time after shall come into the hands or possession of the said Eliza Gamble or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons, for her do well and truly administer, according to the law; and further to make or cause to be made, a true and just account of the said Administration, at or before the second day of November A.D. 1907, and all the rest and residue of the Goods, Chattels and Credits, which shall be found remaining upon the said Aministrator's account, the same being first examined and allowed by the said Surrogate Court, or other Court of Competent authority in that behalf, do deliver and pay over to such person or persons, respectively, at the said Surrogate Court, or other Court of competent authority in that behalf, by Decree or Sentence, pursuant to the true intent and meaning of this Act, shall limit and appoint. And if it shall heresfter appear, that any last Will and Testament was made by the said Deceased, and the said Executior or Executors therein named so exhibit the same into the said Surrogate Court, making request to have it allowed and approved accordingly, if the said Eliza Gamble above bounden being thereunto required, do render and deliver the Letters of Administration (Probate of such Testement being first had and made), unto the said Surrogate Court; then this obligation is to be void and of no effect, or to remain in full force and virtue.

You swear that you believe the said John Gamble died without a will an that you will well and truly Administer all and every the Goods of the said deceased and pay his debts so far as his Goods will extend and that you will exhibit a true and perfect Inventory of the said Deceased and rendered a plain and true account of your Administration unto the Surrogate Court of said Island according to that __?__ of your Letter of Administration. So Help you God

The foregoing oath was signed by the said Eliza Gamble and sworn to by me at Ive's Point in Prince County in said Island this 1st day of May A.D. 1907 Before me Charles Ives, JP Commissioner per Dedimus potestem

In the matter of the Estate of John Gamble late of Ive's Point Lot 17 in Prince County farmer deceased Intestate

We do severally swear that each of our real and personal Estates is worth Two hundred dollars ($200.00) of lawful money of the Dominion of Canada over and above the payment of our first debts respectively.
