The Last Will and Testament of James McAleer, ( - 1917, Lot 22)
This is the last will and testament of me James McAleer of St. Patrick's Road, Lot 22 in Queen's County and Prince Edward Island. I herby revoke all former wills by me made and declare this to be my last Will and Testament.
I) After all my just debts and funeral expenses are paid, I will devise and bequeath my property as follows:
II) To my beloved daughter Katie E. McAleer, I will and bequeath a Cow which I have already designate dfor heer, and also the sum o5 Four Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($450.00) cash to be paid to her as soon as possible from my estate.
III) To my beloved daughter Annie McAleer of Charlottetown, I will and bequeath the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) to be paid as soon as may be from my estate.
IV) To my beloved grandson Robert Emmet Elliot, I will and bequeath the sum of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) to be paid as soon as may be from my estate.
V) To the parish priest of St. Anns, Lot 22, I will and bequeath the sum of Thirty Dollars ($30.00) for the purpose of saying masses for the repose of my soul.
VI) All the balance of my estate both real and personal, I will devise and bequeath to my beloved son James J. McAleer, to him, his heirs and assigns forever.
In testament whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty ninth day of July A.D. 1912.
Signed and delivered as and for his last will and testament in our presence, who at his request and in his presence as well as in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.
