Last Will and Testament of Isabella Compton (1822-1903, Belle River)

Know all men by these presents that I Isabella Compton of Belle River, Queens County, Prince Edward Island, being in sound mind and judgment do make this my last will and testament.
First I give and bequeath to my beloved son William Compton all my land and buildings, situated in Belle River aforesaid, willed to me by my husband the late Wellington Compton, excepting the eleven and one half acres of land conveyed by me by deed to my granddaughter Margaret Jane Compton.
Secondly I give and bequeath to my son William aforesaid, all my live stock, implements and so forth, I appoint Simon Compton my executor.
In witness whereof I hereunto subscribe my name and set my seal this twenty-third day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and three.

This will was acknowledged before us by the within named Isabella Compton and at the same time declared by her to be her last will and testament.
