Last Will and Testament of Elisha Morrow:
In the name of God Amen. I Elisha Morrow of North Lake Township forty seven (47) Province of Prince Edward Island North America Farmer, being of sound memory do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following.
1st. When it will please God to call my soul to himself I order that my body be buried in a decent manner.
2nd. Should I at the time of my decease owe any debts, I order that the same be paid out of what means God has been pleased to bless me with.
3rd. I leave and bequeath unto my loving son Benjamin Morrow all the tract of free hold land now in my possession containing forty acres more or less. Also, a piece or parcel of Gleb land in the rear containing about thirty acres and joining my son William Morrow of Portage. Also, all my stock of horn cattle, horses and sheep, all my farming utensuals and all and everything movable belonging or attached to the premises, all of which I leave and bequeath him my son Benjamin in consideration that the said Benjamin is bound to respect and provide and maintain with due satisfaction during her life my beloved wife Margaret Morrow.
4th. I leave and bequeath to my loving son William a piece or parcel of Gleb land now in his own possession, containing fifty or sixty acres bounded west by the main Post Road and bounded east in rear by the so called Prices Road.
5th. I leave and bequeath unto my loving son James Morrow now of Boston eight pounds cash.
6th. I leave and bequeath unto my loving son John T. Morrow Farmer of North Lake ten pounds cash.
7th. I leave and bequeath unto my loving daughter Louis Morrow now in the United States twelve pounds cash immediately after my death and also at the end of two years after three pounds cash.
8th. I leave and bequeath to my loving daughter Charlotte McLearn of Cable Head the sum of five pounds cash.
9th. I leave and bequeath to my loving daughter Harriet Sanders of Greenwich the sum of five pounds cash.
10th. I leave and bequeath to my grandson Elisha Frederick Morrow our Heffer best.
11th. I do order and appoint my son Benjamin Morrow and Thomas Morrow both of North Lake Lot 47 to be my sole Executors and Administrators of this my last will and testament in witness whereof I set my hand and seal this twenty sixth day of March one thousand eight hundred and fifty eight.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Elisha Morrow as his last will and testament in presence of us and each of us subscribing witness.
