Duncan A. McKinnon Will and Estate
"LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF DUNCAN A. MCKINNON, OF 91 CAMDEN STREET, ROXBURY, MASSACHUSETTS.I, the said Duncan McKinnon, being of sound mind and memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this, my last will and testament, as follows:
First:- I direct that all my just and lawful debts and funeral expenses be paid in full.
Second:- All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate I give, bequeath and devise to my sister Jennie Alward, of said Roxbury. If the said Jenny Alward shall not survive me then I give, bequeath and devise my said estate to her daughters Marion L. Carter, wife of William J. Carter, and Pearl H. Birt, wife of Reuben Birt, both of said Roxbury, Mass., share and share alike.
Third:- I hereby nominate and appoint the said William J. Carter to be the Executor of this my will.
Fourth:- I hereby revoke all former wills by me made.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 24th day of October A.D. 1928.

The above and foregoing instrument, written on two sheets of paper, was, on the day of the date thereof, duly signed, sealed, published and declared by the said Duncan McKinnon to be his last will and testament in the presence of us who, at his request and in his presence, and in the presence of each other have hereunto set our hands as subscribing witnesses, thereto this 24th day of October A.D. 1928.

"COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS.—Suffolk, ss.—Probate Court.—To all persons interested in the estate of DUNCAN A. MCKINNON, otherwise known as DUNCAN MCKINNON, late of Boston, in said County, deceased. A petition has been presented to said Court for probate of a certain instrument purporting to be the last will of said deceased by WILLIAM J. CARTER, of Quincy, in the County of Norfolk, and praying that he be appointed executor thereof. If you desire to object thereto you or your attorney should file a written appearance, in said Court, at Boston, before ten o’clock in the forenoon on the sixth day of June, 1935, the return day of this citation. Witness. WILLIAM M. PREST, Esquire, First Judge of said court, this first day of May, in the year one thousand nine hundred and thirty five.

"Dear Sir:
Your uncle, Duncan A. McKinnon, died at Boston on March 29, 1935, leaving an estate of a little less than $1500.00.
His heirs at law were his sister, Jennie Alward and a large number of nephews and nieces.
By his will, a copy of which is enclosed herewith, he left all his estate to his said sister.
If you desire to object to the allowance of the will you must follow the instructions in the enclosed copy of the Probate Court citation.
