I Cornelius Quirk of Bedeque Road Lot 27 in Prince Edward Island, Farmer in very sick and weak in body but of sound mind and memory to make this my last will and testament.
First, I will bequeath to my wife Mary Quirk one half of the farm which I now occupy on said Bedeque Road aforesaid Lot 27; to be used and managed by her as long as she lives and after her death it shall be settled on my dear son Patrick Quirk together with the other half of the aforesaid farm. I also will unto my daughter Ellen Quirk the sum of twenty pounds currency of this Island and I will unto my daughter Mary Thomson one cow and I appoint Mich’l Keough and James McGrath Executors to this my last Will and Testament.
Signed, Sealed and Delivered this 22nd day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixtwo in the presence of us.
