The Will of Robert Webster (-1879, Fort Augustus) Liber 9 Folio 755
In the name of God, Amen, I Robert Webster Farmer of Fort Augustus, Queens County, Prince Edward Island, being of sound mind and memory, thanks be to God, do make this my last will and testament.
I bequeath my farm here in Fort Augustus to my well beloved wife Elizabeth, for the term of her natural life and at her, my wife Elizabeth's death to be divided equally between my beloved sons, Robert and Mark, half of the land to each. I also bequeath that piece of land containing twenty two and one half acres of Land Situated on the East Side of the road leading from Fort Augustus Road to Glenfinnan, (along Mr. John Garfand's East line) to my wife Elizabeth, for the term of her natural life and at her decease the said property, then, to be divided between my sons Robert and Mark in two equal parts. The Stock, buildings and Farming implements, all appurtenances to and belonging to the said property, I do also bequeath to my dearly beloved wife Elizabeth, for the term of her lifetime, then to be disposed of by her in the names she may deem pending at her decease.
Subject to the following considerations that me beloved Son Daniel shall receive as or after my decease the sum of twenty five cents currency as his portion of the aforementioned of properties.
To my daughter Elizabeth I bequeath twenty five cents as her portion of the aforementioned properties to be paid to her at or after my decease.
To my dear beloved daughter Ellen, I bequeath the sum of twenty five cents as her portion of the aforementioned properties to be paid to her at or after my decease.
In witness while of and of these present I have here appointed as my executors to this my last will and testament Mr. Philip Lanes and Mr. Alexander Jenkins to carry out the conditions and statements contained in all the foregoing will to all intents and purposes.Signed with X mark

Michael LavertyCodicil - I further bequeath to my dearly beloved wife Elizabeth the full power and authority to collect and receive all due and accruing rent and arrears on that house and one road of land a little more or less situated at Hickey's Wharf adjoining this farm on which I now reside, according to the terms of an agreement was that Francis McNally of Battery Point, Lot 36 would pay one my heirs or assigns the sum of Eight Dollars and Eleven Cents each and every year in the first day of May, for its use and occupation. Then at her death to be disposed in the manner and according to the way my said wife may deem prudent.

The foregoing will having been presented for Probate Michael Laverty and Daniel Keenan of Lot 36 in said Island Teacher on of the subscribing witnesses whereto made oath that he was present and did see the Testator Robert Webster sign his name by putting his cross thereto and heard him publish and declare the same as and for his last will and testament that when Testator so did he was of sound disposing mind and memory according to this deposement best discerning. That he subscribed his name as a witness there to in the presence of Testator and that the there in named Daniel Keenan subscribed his name as a witness there to at the same time .Signed
