The last Will and Testament of Laughlin McKinnon of Tyne Valley Lot 13 Prince County Prince Edward Island. I Laughlin McKinnon considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory, blessed be almighty God for the same, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Barbary McKinnon the house and land attached thereto running as follows forty five yards north from the road and thence twenty five yards from the stake north unto the said heading to Lot 11 given by good intention and free will of Allan McLean. I also give and bequeath unto my beloved wife one cow and six sheep as long as she shall remain in the name of Laughlin McKinnon and if she should marry again the said property is to be divided equal shares between the children and hereby I request her to give my children John Archibald, Mariah, Laughlin good schooling and to keep them to school unto the age of sixteen and then she is to [send?] the two boys John Archibald and Laughlin to a trade whatever they may fancy for themselves. And lastly as to all the rest and remainder of my personal estate goods and chattels of what kind and nature soever, I give and bequeath the same unto my beloved wife Barbary Mc Kinnon. I hereby appoint my sole executors of this my last Will and Testament to be Donald Mc Lean and Alexander Ramsey revoking all former wills by me made in witness whereof I have herewithto set my hand and seal the fifth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy four.

The above instrument consisting of one sheet was now here subscribed by Laughlin McKinnon the testament in the presence of each of us and was at the time declared by him to be his last will and testament and __ his request signed our names hereto as attested witnesses
