Yesterday His Majestys Ship the Race Horse arrived here from England & brought the despatches herewith enclos'd to you.

Lord Sydney has directed that these despatches shall be forwarded to you by a special mefsenger who is to wait for your answer to them which is to be brought here & forwarded to England by the Race Horse which is to remain in this Harbour for that purpose.
