Souris, Augt 16th 1864
James Anderson, Esq.
Dear sir:
Your estimate as of the 8th I duly secured and would like to have that warrant. You speak of but cannot decide until next mail when I will have a statement of my founds at the old Bank and if I conclude to take the warrants I could send a check for the amt. And if they shall have been presumably disposed of you can place the amt. To my credits.
As regards circulating your notes. If you choose to send me a little, say not exceeding a Hundred Pounds with a good share of them in small Notes I will do what I can to distribute them and account to you for them as fast as I get them off my hands.
Yours Respectfully,
John Knight
