I have recd yr. favour enclosing the news papers and the price current and am much oblige to you I here with inclose you the second of a set of exchange drawn on you by J? Woodside the first of which I sent you by Gallong when I orderd 4 puncheons of rum 5 ? of Tobacco abt 6 Barrels of sugar 10 quintals of West Indie ? for my work? people and I requested you to send my acct & I would pay it to ? order in England - I have sent by this opportunity 48 sheep ? to you as I hear sheep sells well - I wish you to give the young Breens? the preference as one of them told me when ? he would give as good price as any one - I intend with the Blessing of God to go to England in a few days, and if and if you will write to me at Mr. Winchester No. 17 Cecil Street, Strand I will pay the Balance of yr. acct. to whoever you may direct - my business in future will be carried on here under the Firm of Cambridge Son & Wright - the latter is my Son in Law young Higgins last autumn engaged several good labourers at Newfdland for price? at six pounds for six months - and Mr. McAuslin informs me he will engage me as many as I want - but for fear his business might prevent his attention to it I will be much oblige to you if you could engage me 6 or 8 good working men - they are chiefly to be employed with the cross cut saw in getting logs for my saw mill I don't mind a few pounds if they are good working men I will employ them for any time after if they may like to stay I am to pay Mr. McAuslin 5/ 6 curency pr head? for sheep and he has drawed on me to pay eight pounds - part of the freight
