Edward M Gosbee, a Spanish -American War Veteran and a member of William McKinley Camp, United Spanish War Veterans, of this city , passed away early this morning at the Essex County sanitarium, Middleton, where he was located for about three weeks receiving treatment after a lingering illness. He was 45 years 11 months 8 days of age. During the Spanish -American War he was an ambulance driver. He was employed for some time at the Grocery of Moses Babson and the Dolliver grocery on Main street and also at the bottling works of George A. Davis. He leaves beside his wife Mary E. (Hodgdon) Gosbee, one son Marshall Gosbee and his mother Mrs. Sarah Nelson , two sisters Mrs. Georgie E. Parsons and Mrs. Ella Hazard both of Boston.

Lettman of 52 Grove Street, Gloucester passed away at the Addison Gilbert Hospital Saturday at the age of 69 after having been admitted to the hospital Tuesday and undergoing an operation there Friday, From Which he failed to rally. The deceased was born in Hamburg Germany, and came here when he was 15 years of age , since having made his home in this city. He was employed at the Russia cement Company plant. She was born in Rockport the daughter of David T. And Delia (Tarr) Kennison , and lived almost all her life there. She moved to Gloucester about a year and a half ago. She is survived by a son David G. Kennison; two brothers George of Everett and Ralph of Gloucester and several Neice and nephews.
