Application for military service, October 23, 1917. Height 5 foot, 9 inches, complexion - medium, eyes grey, hair light brown. Marshall graduated with an MD from McGill University in 1925. He practised from 1925 to 1930 at Mundare, Alberta. He practised at Lamont, Alberta from 1930 to 1942. In 1937, he went to Toronto to do post graduate and became a radiologist. After 1942, Marshall was a radiologist in Edmonton, Alberta until his retirement in the 1970's. William Ray Mallett, son.

Pauline was a school teacher at Edmonton, Alberta, prior to her marriage. Her ancestors were some of the original settlers of Rhode Island and Massachusetts, arriving in the 1630's. These families were the Lewises, Cards, Hutchinsons, Greenes, Dyers, Williams, and Sayles. Most noteable were Roger Williams, Anne Marbury Hutchinson, and Mary Barrett Dyer.
