COLLEGE STUDENTS PLAY SHAKESPEARE

Delightful Time Last Night at P. W. College.

From the Daily Examiner, May 30, 1913.

The students in Prince of Wales College Hall last evening provided a very entertaining evening in the College for a large number of citizens, by presenting a sketch from Shakespeare's "As You Like It."
The acting throughout was highly creditable to all concerned.

The Dramatis Personae were :–
Rosalind – Miss Jean MacDonald;
Celia – Miss Annie Gardiner;
Audrey – Miss Belle McKenzie;
Page – Miss Annie Johnson;
Orlando – Sidney Bonnell and Frank McCarey;
Duke Senior – Grove Carter;
Jacques – Thane Campbell;
Touchstone – Fred Donald and Cuyler MacKenzie;
First Lord – Harry Boates;
Oliver – Jack Macleod;
Corin– Brewer Auld;
Silvins – George McLellan;
William – Kenneth Martin;
Jacques du Bois – Fulton Anderson;
Followers of the Duke: Guy McPhee, Emmerson Warren, Ernest Auld, Harry Whitlock.

Between the acts, a splendid musical program was rendered, consisting of a Piano Duet by Miss Olga Crosby and Miss Fannie Gill, and vocal solos by Professors Barlow and Miller. Mrs Rogers also rendered some selections on the piano most acceptably.

The four young ladies taking part in "As You Like It" were each presented with beautiful bouquets.
